This week my first week is MC Donald&#8217;s Big Mac, The burger rolls and patties were easy&#8230;..but it was the sauce that was the real winner in my book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the Burger<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>400g beef mince&nbsp; <\/li><li>4tbsp vegetable oil <\/li><li>2 burger buns <\/li><li>2 burger bun bottoms<\/li><li>1 white onion<\/li><li>\u00bd &nbsp; lettuce&nbsp; <\/li><li>4 slices cheddar cheese<\/li><li>2 dill pickles.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the Sauce<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>150g mayo <\/li><li>1tsp vinegar <\/li><li>White pepper <\/li><li>1tsp mustard <\/li><li>1tsp garlic powder <\/li><li>\u00bdtsp smoked paprika<\/li><li>1tbsp Tomato Ketchup<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mix all the sauce ingredients together and leave in the fridge. <\/li><li>Chop the pickle into slices and chop the lettuce and onion into small chunks<\/li><li>Season the mince beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 equal size balls then flatten into round patties that are fairly thin, about the thickness of a \u00a31 coin. <\/li><li>Heat a frying pan with oil until sizzling then fry the burgers for about 2 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through. <\/li><li>Lightly Fry the onions to remove soften the taste, do not burn. <\/li><li>Toast the buns and spread the sauce over the bottom. <\/li><li>Layer your burger in this order &#8211; Bun, Sauce, Lettuce, Onion, Cheese, Burger, Bun, Sauce, Lettuce, Onion, Burger, Pickle, Cheese, Top of Bun<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:19px\" class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Top Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color wp-block-paragraph\">Make it a single layer burger, still use 2 burger patties but miss out the middle bun. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So with the fast food places shutting down, I challenged myself to create my own fast food style food.
